Victor DeMaria has been involved in construction, property assessment, and property management for over fifty years. He began building while he was in high school, partnering with his father in the development of Demco construction, resulting in the completion of his first home on Partick Lane in Westport, CT. After graduation, Victor returned to building, developing the remainder of Partrick Lane into a five-lot subdivision.
Victor continued his formal education, attending St. Anselm’s College, where he received his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. Following graduation, Victor went on to Pensacola, Florida to become a Naval Aviator in the United States Marine Corps.
After returning from a distinguished career in military service where he was deployed in Vietnam, Victor started his construction and land development company. From 1972 to 1979, Victor’s company operated throughout Fairfield County and utilized multiple construction methods including stick-built, panelize, modular.
Notably, Victor’s company remodeled The Inn at Longshore in Westport, Connecticut. In addition to refurbishing the Inn, Victor ultimately became the leaseholder/operator and permittee of the Inn from 1978-1984. During his time as License & Permittee during this time, Victor turned it into one of the largest jazz clubs in Connecticut. After selling Longshore, Victor returned to construction and development, building single-family homes, duplex housing and light commercial properties throughout Fairfield County.
Victor went into Real Estate Brokerage in 1999. He began this portion of his career at Century 21 Coastal as an agent before taking ownership of the company. As owner/broker, Victor was one of the first offices to implement computers for every agent. His agents were market leaders.
After selling Century21 Coastal, Victor opened Fairfield Coastal Properties where he continued his work in real estate brokerage until joining EAC Properties at KW where he now focus on Investment Sales and Development.
