After a first career the hotel and tradeshow industries holding positions in management and marketing Rob Thomas entered the commercial real estate marketplace in 1980.
From 1980 to 1993 he developed, leased and managed, managed construction and provided owner representative services. His experience includes extensive use of municipal and state financing and rea estate tax prostration consulting.
In 1993 Mr. Thomas obtained a Managing Broker’s real estate license permitting him to offer third party leasing, disposition and acquisition services. He has been an active practitioner ever since and privileged to have many client relationships lasting more than a decade.
In 2004 to broaden his market reach and presence he joined Jameson Real Estate, a continuous and mutually beneficial relationship ever since.
The foregoing equips Mr. Thomas with experience, knowledge and the perspective to render thoughtful and useful counsel.
He is a lifelong Chicagoan residing in the Lincoln Park and Near North neighborhoods. He is married, has three children, a musician, a Peace Corps volunteer and a high school student.
