Matt Scuras

With over fifteen years of real estate sales and leasing experience, Matt is an ambitious and hard-working broker who specializes in the purchase and sale of multi-family, mixed-use and retail properties. Through identifying, evaluating and negotiating commercial opportunities for his clients, Matt has built a reputation as a trusted advisor and true client advocate. A Chicago native, Matt has built wide social and professional networks including relationships with experts in the areas of financing, real estate law, development and construction. While his experience extends to many areas of Chicagoland, his focus is on the near north, north and northwest sides of the city. Prior to entering the real estate industry, Matt worked in restaurant management and operations for a range of venues. His experience within the hospitality industry helped him hone his skills in customer service, diplomacy and negotiation – talents that have seamlessly transferred to his real estate business. Matt’s experience with construction and development enable him to determine cost versus value on improvements. True to his customer service background, he is proactive and offers practical and creative ideas to maximize his clients’ investments. Matt’s dedication to keeping a pulse on the Chicago real estate market enables him to advise clients effectively with the most current information available. Matt’s real estate experience also extends to ownership and management as he has personally bought, managed and sold many properties on the north and south side of Chicago. His extensive knowledge of real estate transactions from both a buyer and seller’s perspective helps him to provide a unique and valuable perspective that his clients often benefit from. He has also represented many buyers, sellers and owners in their real estate transactions and draws from these experiences as well. Matt was born and raised in Lincoln Park’s Old Town Neighborhood, where he currently resides with his wife and 6-year-old daughter. Matt graduated from Abraham Lincoln Elementary School, in the Lincoln Park neighborhood, where his daughter is currently a student. He graduated from Weber High School on the west side of Chicago and studied business at DePaul University.
