Jim has worked in the commercial real estate industry for more than 35 years as a top mortgage broker and investment sales broker in Miami. He has closed over $3 Billion in capital markets transaction and millions in “hard money” residential and commercial loans.

Jim founded Sandstone Realty Advisors 20 years ago, and Jim was ranked “Top 25 Real Estate Firms in South Florida” by transaction volume in 2018 by the South Florida Business Journal

Founder and Managing Broker Jim Fried has dedicated his entire career to Florida real estate, having served in the industry for over 35 years and completing over $3 billion in real estate transactions.

Jim’s experience through multiple cycles enables him to provide unique insight to residential and commercial clients. His far-ranging impact in the community includes involvement with the Bergstrom Real Estate Center at the University of Florida as both a board member and a student mentor, hosting the longest-running real estate radio show in Miami (which in 2020 became the popular Fried on Business podcast), and local and state political advocacy – even running for Commissioner for the City of Miami in 2019.
