G. Donovan Associates, Inc. has been in business since 1994 as a full service general contracting firm located in Franklin, CT. We have the capability to complete our own sitework, demolition, concrete, masonry, rough and finish carpentry, caulking, doors, frames, and hardware, metal stud framing, drywall, acoustical ceilings, and division ten specialties. We employ 30 field personnel that includes project supervisors, foreman, operators, carpenters, masons, concrete finishers, and laborers.

We have a large range of company owned equipment including, but not limited to, excavators, skid steers, dump trucks, rollers, plate compactors, concrete forms, demolition saws, concrete cutting chain saws, table saws and compound miter saws. We have a fleet of company vans that are stocked and set-up with tools so they can function independently across the state.

We are licensed with the State of CT as a major contractor and we are licensed with the Department of Administrative Services (DAS) as a general contractor(group B), a general contractor(group C), general trades, sewer and water lines, sitework, water treatment plants, demolition, concrete, carpentry and millwork, waterproofing, doors and windows, historic buildings, doors, frames, and hardware, roofing, drywall, and lead abatement. Our principles, Scott Donovan and Peter Reinhold, Jr. have over seventy years of construction experience between them on projects ranging in size from five thousand dollars to seven million dollars. They have worked on industrial and commercial projects including schools, colleges, municipal facilities, state projects, manufacturing, hospitals, health care facilities, science laboratories, and retirement housing.

G. Donovan Associates, Inc. is proud to utilize both a local bank and insurance agency. This has allowed us to build long-standing relationships in the industry. We have a single and aggregate multimillion-dollar bonding program with an A-rated surety company.
